SouthWestern appoints new Chief Commercial Officer and opens new Dublin office
The new CCO, David Kelly, will be based in the new Dublin office and will be responsible for plotting the company’s growth strategy, focusing in particular on the financial services sector, public sector and semi-state utilities.
The company has already built up a lot of experience in these sectors through its work for the Irish Department of Agriculture and telecom companies Eircom and O2, as well as leading gas and electricity provider Bord Gais.
Kelly previously worked for Capita Plc one of the dominant players in the UK’s shared services market. Kelly was in charge of driving Capita’s outsourcing business in Ireland where the company employs over 1,000 people.
SouthWestern CEO, Jim Costello said Kelly’s appointment and the opening of a new Dublin office shows the firm has ambitious plans for the future.
‘Recruiting a CCO of David’s calibre and opening a new office in Dublin sends out a clear message to the market. We have full confidence in our ‘shared services’ business model and we see opportunities to grow our business in Poland, Ireland and the UK’ Costello said.
